This is where lost devices are actually recovered, and where most people go wrong by searching the same three obvious spots repeatedly. Method beats effort here.

  1. Define the boundary

    One room, or one vehicle, or one specific area outdoors. A boundary you can finish is worth more than a search area you can only sample.

  2. Divide it into zones and clear them one at a time

When to stop looking
